Product Description
The Spice
Kick up your chicken with Ogopogo Habanero Mango. This has a nice heat upfront that fades quickly. You might pick up a bit of tartness (not sweetness) from the dried mango which is then rounded out by earthy and citrusy notes. This spice has two ounces of hand-blended ancho, habanero, onion, amchur (dried mango), garlic, cloves, cumin, coriander, spearmint and cilantro.
The Legend
Ogopogo is most commonly described as a 40 to 50-foot-long serpent-like creature, reported to lurk in Canada’s Lake Okanagan. It is the best documented of all lake monsters, with reported sitings that go back hundreds of years. Ogopogo, some believe, gets its roots from a Canadian Native Indian legend of a beast called N’ha-a-itk (also spelled Naitaka). The creature would demand a live sacrifice from travelers for safe passage across Lake Okanagan.
